for the purpose it serves as a guest bed.....we did find very basic instructions and had it together in less than an hour.....It does fold down to a bed and back up again (like a lounge chair...you hear the clicks).....I agree with one reviewer it's not the most comfortable, when I sit on it you can feel the bar so you do need either top cushion or thick comforter for suppoert, not just a sheet to sleep on....again the price and color were right.

Either there is something wrong with mine (and I can't ship it back for a return if I can't fold it), or this is just misleading. The sofa "bed" arrived without instructions or any other documentation. I folded it up into a sofa, which is okay for what it is, but there is no apparent way to fold it back down (and again, no instructions). I would NOT recommend buying this.

I have had this sofa bed now for almost a year, I was really excited to buy it because I have a super small room. I had to wait two months for the bed to actually get to my house and Target never offered anything. I just kept getting emails pushing back the delivery date, not at all happy. This acts as the bed in my room and also a sofa for when I hang out with friends. The sofa is fine and comfortable. It is a little odd to put back into a bed. To sleep on this sofa bed is hard. There are a lot of metal pieces underneath that it takes a while to find a sweet spot. However the sofa bed works perfectly with twin sheets. Overall, its okay not great.

Omg!!!!! It was the best couch that I could have bought! I would recommend it to everyone! It is the best couch from its looks, to its comfortableness. The arms fold up and down, but I personally like them down. also it folds back so you can sleep on it, and it is very comfotable to sleep on. It is sturdy and last but NOT least, the color is a pritty brown!

I recently moved into a condo and wanted a furniture piece that would serve both as daytime seating in a guest room and a night-time place for the grandkids to sleep. This is the perfect piece! I'm so pleased with it-both in its looks and function....a real 2 thumbs up for the sofa bed!

I bought this little couch on a whim because it was on sale for 99 bucks at my local target. It was really easy to set up, and looks really nice in my living room, but oh my goodness in no way shape or form is this a couch meant to be used everyday. After less than a week I could feel all the springs in the couch. And don't even think about sitting in the middle of the couch....there's a huge plank right in the center of the couch that HURTS to sit on. It's only semi-comfortable to sleep on if you sleep on the side that folds up and down, or throw a big pad over it. If it were to sit in your guest bedroom and be used once or twice by your friend who passed out drunk then it would be an o.k. couch. I wouldn't buy it again. I gave it two stars because it is nice looking, the folding arms and back is pretty cool and easy to use, and it was really cheap.

We put this sofa in my son's room because he needed a place for friends to sit and he needed a bed for sleepovers. It is easy to use and stylish. He loves it and makes sleepovers super easy. It's comfortable but keep in mind our guests are 11 years old and younger.

This item is not worth any amount of money. Cheap fabric will stain w/in days....that's if you really want to even sit on it....let alone sleep on it.

I bought this sofa in august for my sophomore year of college and for living in a new apartment. We knew we were going to be given a small two seater couch through our university so we wanted to purchase another couch that could double as a bed when guests came. When i found this option i fell in love with the style and color (i actually got the black). When we moved in it was easy to construct (but you did have to find the instructions in the back zipper of the couch) and looked great. It was only until a couple of months into school that I started to hate it. It's wildly uncomfortable with that bar down the middle and the fabric has started to pill. Definitely think through how often you'll be sitting on it because if its more than 10 minutes, you'll probably be disappointed.
